Environmental Toxins and brain injuries

Hi,

Been doing alot of thinking. Considering brain injured folks are more likely to develop MS Parkinsons and Alzheimeirs, and so do people who are affected by environmental toxins, wonder if there is a link? Maybe we don't make enough glutathione to get rid of toxins and are left like pple on a sinking boat without a life jacket. Just wondering............

…. could it be that after a TBI then, that the body's defenses are weakened to such an extent that 'common pollutants' have a greater affect ? Back when I was just out of the hospital, I noticed that I seemed more 'sensitive' to car exhaust than I had been. BUT, in 1977 the car exhaust wasn't as regulated as it is today
