Use what you have

After my TBI my clear memories were limited to childhood and young adulthood…2 decades were lost. Fortunately I had been in the US Army in my youth as a Sgt. Being a natural survivor I used what I had available (military experience) to make it through the beginning of TBI recovery. The military had taught me order, discipline,SOP’S (standard operating procedures) and learning through repetition. Turns out this is exactly what I needed to survive and thrive with a TBI!

AMAZING! I have to say that my military experience helped me as well. I'm Army too! I've always been a rather orderly person anyway but you hone that in the service. I really hadn't put the 2 together.
